As a Teacher:
A “living room conversation” teaching/preaching style that combines vulnerability and provocative insight creating a rich environment for people in all walks of their faith to be awakened by God’s Word in a new way. His love for the text is contagious. Using the original Greek and Hebrew as he prepares for teaching/preaching allows him to confidently bring law and gospel to every word that he shares.As a Student:
Jeremey completed his undergraduate work at Biola University in La Mirada, CA (B.S. in Organizational Leadership). His graduate degree is from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA (M.Div.) with courses in Worship, Mission, and Confessional Theology completed at Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, MN.
As a Minister:
Jeremey is inspired by the enthusiasm of those at Radiant Church to reflect on the Kingdom "big picture." He is constantly learning and growing from their passion as he teaches each week the multi-generational, mission-focused people who make up this church.
Some of Jeremey’s greatest honors have come from being invited into the most intimate wounds and joys of the people of God including walking with families in crisis and in celebration, birth and death, loss of job and home, new marriages and family members.
As a Family in Ministry:
Jeremey and his wife Michelle have a heart for the Church to be a place where people can be authentically known, healed, and transformed. They share a passion for living a life of incarnational ministry and encouraging congregations to “be the church” by tangibly loving God and their neighbors.
Michelle is a Marriage and Family Therapist-Intern and currently works at Journeys, a Christian counseling center, which partners with the local churches to provide a confidential place for people find additional support. She would love to develop this model of partner-ministry in new and especially under-served contexts.
Together they have a son named Gabriel, who surprises them each day with his love for people and learning, and a daughter Neriyah who is just getting to know the world.
